A moment with our Director Patrik Johansson
When Summer is approaching fast, there are many things to be
finalized, but there should also be some time to reflect back on the recent
past. Let me pick my 3 personal highlights from the late Spring:
The Annual Conference (of course!). So very nicely organized
by POLITO and the most important thing was that it did not feel at all as a
funeral or sad event being the last AC - rather it felt as "the beginning
of a beautiful friendship". Surely it is not new, but to me it felt
revitalized; now that we can conclude Battery2030+ we can also bring the
community to Batt-Bridge (more about that later) and I think we all felt the
support by the EC for what we are doing - we are doing things right!
- Seeing the important pushes that we do together with our
friends in BEPA and Recharge for batteries in Europe at large. How that will be
materialized in actions for support and future actions are yet to be seen - but
together we are strong and we should all feel both the urgency and how
important it is for the future of Europe - no less, no more.
And as always - the next generation. Not mainly the battery technologies - you know I love those - but the people: the YSE, the webinars, the engagement and the inclusiveness. We can, and should, for sure do even more, but the young community we have is great and has so much energy and power - and hopefully also it is long-lived and sustainable
